About Study Hall
Hi! I’m Shannon, a Local 706 Make-up Artist and Host of Study Hall.
Study Hall began as a small gathering with friends during the 2023 strikes. It was a space to connect, share stories, and stay motivated. It has evolved into something so much bigger than I could have imagined and I am incredibly grateful for everyone involved.
Our community is now made up of over 200+ union and non-union Los Angeles-based hair and make-up artists. Most work in TV/Film, others specialize in editorial or commercial, and a few are just kicking off their HMUA journey.
